Giving at Christmas

WHAT WE DO

Christmas Dinner

We will host Christmas-themed parties at local children's care homes, with the aim of improving the festive experience for "looked after" children. Donations will enable us to provide food, drinks, and entertainment at our parties and enhance the Christmas experience. We are currently looking for a local children's care home to work with. More details coming soon.

We will also look to provide local food banks with Christmas-themed hampers. These hampers will include items such as Christmas pudding, hot chocolate, fruit and vegetables, condiments, confectionery and toys for children, plus much more. We will be delivering these hampers on the 23rd and 24th of December and any non-perishable food items would be greatly appreciated. More details coming soon.

WHAT WE DO

ABOUT US

Our Mission

We are a small, local non-profit charity who strive to provide vital help to looked after children and low-income families around the Christmas period by donating gifts, food, and monetary support.

Our journey starts in the Wakefield area, with a vision of expanding our reach across the Yorkshire region.

We utilize local authorities and sources to locate those most in need of support. Together with local help, Christmas Cheer seeks to enhance the Christmas experience for children in care homes and low-income families.

How you can help

By donating something, you can help those in need this Christmas. Whether it's children's gifts, non-perishable food, or money. the smallest donation can make the biggest difference.

Hi, I'm Ben. Being a part of this charity means I can help those in the local community that need it. Whilst the majority of us are enjoying the festivities, there are some that don't get a Christmas at all. We seek to change that.

Hi, I'm Ryan. Christmas is my favourite time of the year but unfortunately, not everyone has the same experience as I do. My academic background specializes in community engagement and corporate sustainability and I will look to implement this to benefit my local community!
